Jr. High and High School Divisions

Where: Morton Jr. High School

  • 225 E. Jackson St. Morton, IL 61550

Format:

  • 30/5 Individual/Team 4 rounds
  • 3 minute Bughouse 4 rounds (at the end of the tournament)
  • IESA/IHSA rules in effect.
  • IESA section is a rated tournament

Cost:

  • $5 per person (any division) – max $100 per school
  • Make checks payable to Morton Jr. High School
  • Check In 8:00-8:30a.m. First Round starts 9:00a.m.

All players are required to record their games.

What to Bring:

  • Chess Boards/Pieces/Clocks for half your players.
  • Notation Sheets/Pencils
  • Money or food for lunch and snacks – Full Concession Stand will be available.
