Where: Chiddix JH School, 300 S Walnut Street, Normal, IL 61761

Starting Time: First round will start at 9:00 AM with subsequent rounds to follow as soon as possible. Awards presented ASAP.

Food Service: Sandwiches, pizza, Indian snacks/food, and beverages will be available for purchase.

Game Review/Simul Service: Games will be reviewed and an opportunity to play Simul against a top local players will be available

Sections: 4 Sections: LP (K-1), UP (2-3), E (4-5) and Junior High

Time Limits: For Sections LP, UP and E – Game 30, 5 rounds. For Junior High – Game 45, 4 Rounds

Entry Fee: $15.00 (USCF membership required, JTP acceptable for K-3)

Entry deadline: 6:00 p.m., Wed, Dec 10th, 2008

Registration (coaches only): Check in and all changes are due on Saturday by 8:30 AM. You must be checked in by 8:30 AM or you will not be paired for the first round.

Trophies/Prizes: 1. Team Trophy - Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each section

2. Top unrated - Trophies will be awarded to the top unrated player in each section

3. Biggest Upset - Trophies will be awarded to the player with the biggest upset in each section

4. Gift Certificates valued at $40 from Colley’s Chess Café would be awarded to Top Individuals in each section to be used for chess lessons.

5. Individual Trophy - For the Lower Primary, Upper Primary & Elementary Section - Top 10 individuals and top 5 grade individuals - For Junior High section top 5 individuals, top 3 grade individuals. �
